How to Find Wireless Connections on the Road

Are you a road warrior? Or do you like to get out of the office with your computer, maybe find a comfy chair at Panera or Starbucks and surf the web?

If so, you may be interested in the new service WeFi, which aims to help you find reputable and reliable wireless access points in areas you don’t know well. In Find a Better Connection with WeFi, Download Squad notes,

“WeFi launched a short while ago and provides its users with pinpointed WiFi locations, and connects users of that connection with one another. The tool is a downloadable client for Mac and PC users, having a similar feel to an IM application. When WeFi is launched users are presented with a map of all of the WiFi connections in the area. This includes open, locked, and restricted connections.”
