Mediation Resources Roundup, November 2006

November 10, 2006 ·

border-collie.pngI used to round up periodically and stopped for a while. Since a number of you have asked that I start again, I’ll do just that. My monthly roundup is a short list of links to free or low-cost services and articles that I believe help make the job of building and managing a thriving practice a little bit easier — whether technophile or technophobe.

  • Doodle - A cool little free online program for scheduling meetings with greater ease. I’ve tried it and it’s just terrific.
  • Choose (and Remember) Great Passwords - If you have as many passwords to remember as I do (online banking, email account(s), free online software sites, etc.), then you’ll find some relief and good advice here.
  • Online File Conversion - A review of the new Zamzar, a free online service that converts files from one format to another (pdf to Word, for example).
  • How Can 10 Simple Articles Change Your Life? - If you blog, you’ll want to read this from top to bottom. If you don’t yet blog, it’s even more important for you to read it.
  • How to Comment Like a King (or Queen) - A short, effective guide to leaving comments on blogs. Thanks to Bill Warters for finding that link.
  • Save Your Wet Cell Phone - Probably a good one to bookmark for the day you need it…hopefully that day won’t come.

On a side note, I’ve had a few emails about when you can expect the next sections of my blook, Making Mediation Your Day Job. I’m back from a period of business travel to work with clients and will be putting up large chunks of the blook next week. Thanks for your continuing interest and have a great weekend!
