Mediator Tech Gets a New Look

Mediator Tech’s gotten a site upgrade and if you’re reading this post by email or RSS reader, I hope you’ll visit the site and have a look-see. My private ADR practice has several strands and I’ve been working to give the related websites a more coordinated appearance.

The software that has made the coordinated appearance a breeze for me is Semiologic. Actually, I’m a big fan of both the software and the man behind it, Denis de Bernardy. Semiologic’s Pro package, which I’m using here on Mediator Tech, is highly customizable without having to know geek stuff like coding and it simplifies many of my tasks. I’m even still discovering some of the great features and how they help you, me, and the search engines—and thus my business.

Semiologic allows you to change the layout, number of columns, color scheme, and choice of features with the press of a button, quite literally. And, for those of you who speak languages other than English, choose one of the miniature flags in the upper right-hand corner to have the site instantly translated for you. Since I get visitors from all over the world, I’m thrilled with this feature.

Though the features, power, and simplicity alone are more than enough to warrant the very reasonable investment, Denis, who’s based in the U.K., puts a capital S on customer service. He’s an excellent communicator, something I know mediators will appreciate, and he really knows his stuff. Denis, if you’re reading this, another big thanks for all your lovely support as I’ve made the transition to Semiologic for my sites!

If you blog and use WordPress, I highly recommend that you consider Semiologic Pro. And if you don’t blog but want a website that’s easily customizable, professional and costs a lot less than hiring a web designer, you too should consider WordPress and Semiologic Pro.

Interested but not sure how to proceed? Drop me a note and I’ll email you a couple of ways to get started.
